Ipanema is a fun, sustainable sandal and flip-flop collection manufactured in Brazil by Grendene. It is made from a uniquely formulated PVC plastic called "Flexpand" - a recyclable and non-toxic material that makes our footwear super comfortable, flexible & durable on the footbed and toe strap.

Ipanema was inspired by the vibrant colors and culture of the famous Ipanema beach - but it is a fashion and lifestyle essential, not just a product for the summer. We believe the beach is not a place, but a state of mind - and that Ipanema women take the sun's energy wherever they go. Unlike many other footwear manufacturers, Ipanema products are 100% recyclable and do not use any rubber from our rainforests. This dramatically reduces our waste and enables us to recycle 99% of our waste products.

Ipanema is sold in nearly 100 countries around the world. In the Philippines, Ipanema is exclusively distributed by ELRO Retail Corporation and other Grendene footwear brands Zaxy, Grendha, and Rider.
